Members of the Council have had several comments and complaints about irresponsible parking in the village particularly around the central greens and the Pedlars Lane junction. The Council is taking advice from the police and discussions have taken place with nearby property owners on how it may be possible to improve the road safety issues relating to parking in this area of the village.
However, until course of action is determined, and although it is appreciated it is not only villagers who park in this location, we would ask that if you do so to use extra care and respect as reduced vision due to parked vehicles is making safe progress particularly difficult.
